Welcome!

Welcome to Cate Song's Official Website!  Cate is a NYC-based singer/songwriter making introspective piano-based pop music with a touch of soul.  Basically, it's the stuff that would come out of a Sara Bareilles and Alicia Keys jam session. You can find her regularly leading worship music at New Life Fellowship in Elmhurst, Queens, NY, which is live streamed at 10:30am every Sunday.

Click around and check out what Cate's been up to lately!  There's music, videos, free downloads... plus you can get updates on the "Songbird Scoop." If you're not on the mailing list, make sure to sign up for an exclusive download that you'll only get here.

Thanks for stopping by!

Songbird's Latest Scoop

"Starting Over" on Netflix's Extraordinary Homes and Singapore's "Missing"

Latest sightings (or should we say "hearings") of my song, "Starting Over," include the Netflix original series, "Extraordinary Homes" (Arizona house), and the Singaporean drama, "Missing." To those of you who have taken time to look me up and find me on YouTube and the like, I truly appreciate you. You're keeping my songs alive! It's been really cool to hear my songs placed in a host of platforms all around the world. :)

Cate Playing at Queens Night Market on 8/15!

I just confirmed a show at the Queens Night Market!  QNM is an outdoor food fair of sorts, featuring FANTASTIC local food vendors from all over Queens (it's about time they did this!!) with live music and great vibes.  I went a few weeks ago and had the BEST time eating my way through the grounds. :)  I'll be playing 2 sets there on Saturday, August 15 at 8:30pm.  Come on out early, doors open at 6pm, grab something to eat, and stick around and let me share some music with ya!  It's been awhile so I'm excited about sharing my stuff with ya!

Making My Scene at NLF (not NFL)

I've been MIA for awhile but I'm ecstatic to report that I've taken a new job at New Life Fellowship!  I started as the Pastor of Worship Ministries there in March and it has been quite a whirlwind transitioning out of my day-job (accounting) and other pursuits.  I'll be doing this for awhile and now that I have a job related to music, I hope to post much more content relating to exciting new musical ventures.  Thanks for all your support over the years and stay posted while I fly into new territory!  Much love, cate
